Summer Program

In the summer months of July and August, we offer a Space Science and Technology themed summer camp for children in Grade 4 to 8 (entering in September 2020).

Due to COVID-19, we will be offering FREE Virtual Camps for children in Grade 4, 5 and 6. For details, CLICK HERE!

Summer Camp (Grade 4, 5 and 6)

We offer 5-day camps in two space themes where campers will engage in hands-on activities, daily projects and demonstrations highlighting space-focused topics in the fields of astronomy, biology, engineering, geography, and geology.

Summer Academy (Grade 7 and 8)

Summer Academy is a 5-day summer camp for children in Grades 7 and 8. This is a more academic version of the camp with a blended learning experience where the participants will be learning about various topics in space science and technology and will engage in several experiments, hands-on activities, as well as discussions led by Western Space faculty and/or graduate students.
