Space Explorers’ PA day camps are a 1-day camps for children in Grade 4/5/6.
The camps are run by the Centre for Planetary Science and Exploration (CPSX), a leading organization for planetary science and exploration research and training in Canada. The Camp Coordinator, Dr. Parshati Patel, is a CPSX alumna with a PhD in astronomy and planetary science. The camp counselors are certified in First Aid and CPR-C. The PA day camp guide will be available in the month of October.
All PA Day camps will take place at the historic Hume Cronyn Memorial Observatory on the campus of Western University in London Ontario except on October 26, 2018.
On October 26, the camp will take place in Room 1069 of the Biological and Geological Sciences Building at Western University. Details for the pick-up and drop-off locations will be emailed to the parents/guardians.

Camp runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Early drop-off between 8:00 and 8:45 am is available for an extra $5.00 per day. Late pick-up is also available between 4:15 and 5:00 pm for an extra $5.00 per day.
Note: No supervision will be offered beyond 5:00 pm. A $20 fee will be applied to your account for each 30 minutes beyond the pick-up time.
Attendance is taken at the beginning of each day. If your child is absent on the attendance list, the Camp Coordinator will first call home, and then the parent’s work to confirm that the child is absent.

Drop-Off/Pick-Up Location & Time:
The drop-off and pick-up location will be at the Hume Cronyn Memorial Observatory (commonly known as Cronyn Observatory) at Western. Here’s a link to the google maps of the location: https://goo.gl/maps/pGnVKaw4g2u.

Drop-off is between 8:45 am and 9:00 am. Pick-up time is between 4:00 pm and 4:15 pm.
Only authorized individuals (with a valid Photo ID) will be allowed to pick up the child. Please list all authorized individuals on the registration form (Including yourself). Campers are not allowed to sign out themselves (unless 13 years old and parents have listed them on the Authorized Sign-out List).
In case of rain/thunderstorms/extreme heat advisory, the drop-off and pick-up location is the camp room in the Hume Cronyn Memorial Observatory*.
