March Break Camp

What:

The Space Explorers Program’s March Break camp is a 1-week camp for children in Grade 4/5/6. The 2021 March Break Camp will be held in a virtual format due to COVID-19 pandemic. Click here to register.

The 2021 March Break Camp will be held from April 12-April 16 2021 due to the amended March Break dates in 2021.

Who:

The camps are run by the Institute for Earth and Space Exploration, a leading organization for planetary science and exploration research and training in Canada. The Camp Coordinator, Tabetha Sheppard, is a Science Communicator with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology.

When:

  • April 12-16, 2021 – Will be held in a virtual format due to COVID-19 pandemic. March Break Camp will be held April 12-16 due to the amended March Break dates for 2021.

Where:

The 2021 March Break camp will be run in a virtual format due to COVID-19 pandemic. 

Cost:

  • $55.00 + tax (for week of 1/2 day sessions)

Registration:

The registration for March Break camp will begin at noon (12:00 pm) on February 1, 2021. To register, please visit the Schedule and Registration page or Click here to Register.

Camp Hours:

The Camp runs in your choice of either a morning or an afternoon session*

Morning Session – 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

or

Afternoon Session – 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 *One registration per child.

Attendance:

Attendance is taken at the beginning of each day. If your child is absent on the attendance list, the Camp Coordinator will first call home, and then the parent’s work to confirm that the child is absent.

If you know in advance that your child will be absent from camp, we ask that you contact us at spaceexplorers@uwo.ca to let us know of their absence.
